I’ve had a fascination with faces for as long as I can remember. Don’t we all? My favorite images are of people. I enjoy all types of photography but what intrigues me most is someone’s face. I love a frame full of face. So it makes sense that I would become a headshot photographer.
One of my favorite portrait photographers is Timothy Greenfield-Sanders who says, “I’ve been accused of taking the same picture over and over again. I would probably agree with that. But it’s an important picture.” I feel the same way. Some photographers tire quickly of headshots but I believe each one is as important as the next. Certainly to my subject, but also to me.
