The trend for a different headshot backgrounds continued for me through 2021. I'm writing this in the first week of 2022 and already I'm talking to companies who want "something other than gray". In my opinion it's worth the extra time and effort. There's pluses and minuses to every scenario but somehow we (my clients and I) always manage to find a solution.
