Professional headshots that have a view through the window give your website a feel in a time and place. The view can be a cityscape of some type. A building canyon view of a street or a portion of skyline with an iconic Atlanta building. Or it could be, in the case of Montlick and Associates, a window that Atlanta sees time and again on tv after tv commercial. Not many businesses do these types of headshots. Not all headshot photographers offer them. They are weather dependent. I think they’re worth the trouble it takes to accomplish them. In many cases I’m able to shoot your employee at that window on an inclement day and composite the sunny day view from a previous trip where we shot your headshots.
If you’re wanting to do a view through the window, but don’t like your particular view, try talking to the building manager. If there is a vacant office in your building it could be as easy as them giving you access for as long as it takes to do your photoshoot. Perhaps you have access to a shared workspace like WeWork or Spaces. Shared workspaces are often all but vacant on weekends. Check your membership requirements for weekend access but this is a great option.
